My Momma Has a Momma Too

$13.91

by Sara Rian (Author), Alena Karabach (Illustrator)

My Momma Has a Momma Too is a short story about a little ladybug learning about her grandma who died before she was born through a heartfelt conversation with her mother. This book can be used by caregivers as resource to explore the concept of death and love’s continuation with little ones. As a licensed family therapist, the author acknowledges 1.) the topic of death is confusing for both adults and children and takes a lifetime to grasp and 2.) the importance of caregivers talking to little ones about death more than once, honestly and concretely, and working to model grief and hopefulness.
