Green Card Marriage
It’s been almost a month since I pressed the “publish” button and officially re-published Green Card Marriage. And let me tell you, it’s been A MONTH. The first order came with all messed up spines. Then when I tried to correct the cover it went into a review process and I couldn’t get more copies for two weeks. I had a sign-up sheet at the store and somehow managed to gather quite a few people who were kind enough to wait for their copies.
The support has been overwhelming. Strangers keep coming into the store and actually buying my book. I feel so grateful! Overwhelmed, but grateful. Of course, I also have a major case of imposter syndrome, but I’m trying to push it deep down so no one can see it - including me.
If you’d like to support me, feel free to purchase a copy of Green Card Marriage at the online store or anywhere else where it’s available (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Walmart, etc.). I really hope you enjoy it since part of me is still petrified that I’m a horrible writer and that it will be the worst $15.99 spent in your life. I truly hope that won’t be the case.
I learned a lot from this publishing process. Most importantly, doing things last minute is a horrible idea. Do not recommend it. That’s exactly why I’m already working on formatting my next book Love, Death, and In Between which will be published on Valentine’s Day in 2024. Which is literally in two months, so it’s not like I have that much time anyway.
Fortunately, now I get to sit in my own bookstore and write my soul away.
